• Stewardship Coordinator

New Mexico Land Conservancy (Santa Fe, NM), Stewardship Coordinator - Seeking highly motivated individual with excellent interpersonal skills to coordinate stewardship activities and support conservation project development, including: annual conservation easement monitoring and stewardship; environmental assessment, baseline documentation, and other due diligence for conservation easements and other projects; developing effective relationships with private landowners, partner organizations, and government agencies; responding to landowner and public inquiries; supporting conservation planning, communications, outreach and fundraising (for conservation and stewardship) as needed. Position supervises no staff but interacts with other staff, contractors, interns and volunteers. College degree required (graduate degree preferred) in natural resource management, biological/environmental sciences, geography, land-use planning, or other field relevant to land and natural resource conservation; and at least 2 years relevant work experience (previous land trust experience preferred). Familiarity with New Mexican and/or western landscapes and communities. Demonstrated proficiency with GPS and GIS. Strong team ethic, passion for conservation, and ability to work effectively with others and develop practical solutions. Competitive salary and benefits. EOE.
