• Program Manager

Responsible to: President of the Board of Directors
Time Commitment: 25-40 hours per week or as otherwise agreed upon
General Description: Manages the organization from the central office on the NAU campus. Management includes: education, outreach, communication, marketing, fundraising, and general office activities. All duties are performed in compliance with IRS regulations, Board-approved policies, the organization's budget, and high-quality non-profit management principles and techniques.
An ideal Program Manager will have . . .

- proficient written and oral communication skills;
- proven grant-writing success;
- creative problem-solving abilities;
- computer proficiency;
- experience with MS Office and other relevant software applications;
- advertising and branding experience with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and other social media platforms;
- fundraising and development experience; and
- marketing campaign experience.
The preferred candidate will also have . . .
- 3-5 years of non-profit experience;
- a relevant bachelor's degree; and
- ability to work effectively with the various constituencies represented by Diablo Trust (e.g. ranchers, agency officials, recreators, sportsmen, etc.)
The Program Manager will . . .
1. Outreach/Office
- oversee newsletter and webpage development updates;
- educate the public through presentations, displays, seminars, events, and workshops;
- keep computers current with virus software and updates;
- prepare materials for Board members and regular meetings;
- oversee office tasks including filing and correspondences;
- maintain an organizational history;
- keep meeting minutes and other relevant materials stored securely in the office;
2. Marketing and Fundraising
- raise funds to support overall organizational development;
- oversee the management and updating of membership/donation database;
- track Board member fundraising and membership statistics and trends;
- prepare and distribute marketing and fundraising communications (written and oral);
- write grants for the benefit of the organization's programs and projects;
3. Events
- oversee Annual Event organization (advertising, webpage, etc.);
- manage Event sponsors, auction donations, and other donations;
- organize other activities and events (Days on the Land, Christmas Party, etc.);
4. Other
- answer phone and take and distribute messages;
- keep administrative files, electronic files, and files in the storage unit organized;
- write thank-you letters and perform general office upkeep; and
- updated outdated forms as needed.
And other tasks as requested.
