• Organizing and Training Coordinator

Are you looking to join a nationally recognized organizing network, live in a spectacular part of the West, and work with diverse people and constituencies to build power and win? Then this job is for you. The Western Organization of Resource Councils is seeking an experienced community organizer and trainer to join our team.
WORC is a regional network of eight progressive grassroots community organizations in seven Western states. WORC has forty years of experience building grassroots power that has enabled us to hold the coal, oil and gas industries accountable, foster a just transition for fossil-fuel dependent communities, build local food systems and galvanize voters.
If you have a personal commitment to the principles of grassroots community organizing, and at least three years of boots-on-the-ground organizing and campaign experience, including working in and with diverse communities, we invite you to apply to be our Organizing and Training Coordinator. The job announcement and application instructions can be found here. Interviews will be held on a rolling basis and the application deadline is September 30.
